A 12×18 mixed media. Right after doing a piece called “migration“, I went on a fall/nature/triangle SPREE …just to see how far I could stretch it and stay within a set boundary (pallet, shape and subject matter) I was very pleased with the results and have a far deeper understanding of the wide range of rich colors that fall offers us…thus my Fall Series was born. I am sure I could do the same for other season but I am not sure they would offer the same in such a short period and so ever changing…I still prefer to play outside in the summer tho!

Love the strength of the composition and the delicacy of the execution. This is a great image.
This piece is amazing! You are very talented. Thanks for visitng my blog and liking my piece.
It seems to be the most viewed of my works so far…thanks for the complement.

Thanks Ken for visiting my blog and for taking the time to comment. So great to hear from another painter. I am enjoying your work too. Thanks!!
We all can learn from each other yet what is behind all of our eyes is different and it comes out as us.
You aren’t related to Joe Hutchinson are you?
no , who is that? another painter?
Yes he was a Art professor at Ottawa University and mainly Texas A&M…abstracts and a very great person.
oh, terrific. I will look him up.
you know his work reminds me a little of a teacher I once had years ago…at U of G, Walter Bachinski.
He was mine at Ottawa, knew his artists could always take you to the library and show you works similar to what you were working on. Always challenging you to push yourself further and not settle.
good advice certainly… and those art libraries… remember when we had the time to look all day?
This is great! and so ME…
in future posts you will see the other 4 like this one
Ken, I hope I’ll be forgiven for my broken English. I just realize what I wrote when I saw your reply. What I wanted to say that your art is great and that piece vibrates with me soul (and so my style).
NP…I understood, thanks
